Unable to View data stored in TABLES of MiniBASIS Keller Kruger Book

Hello ABAPERS

Can anyone tell me how to view the data of the TABLE in <b>MIniBASIS.</b> I have tried seeing thrgh the MENU option...but the msg " cannot make changes to SAP objects" comes every time.

Also as per the README.txt we have to install <u><i><b>mbs_patch1.zip</b></i></u> .Can abybody tell me the step by step instrucns to do it?

Thanx for the reply.

But I would like to make my problem a little more clear.

I habe got MiniBASIS(minisap) installed which I got thrgh the CD's with the book "ABAP OBJECTS BY KELLER & KRUGER".

It does not have the standard mara like tables.

I have succesfully ran the program S_FLIGHT_GENERATOR and the tables namely SCARR,SGEOCITY,SAIRPORT,SCITAIRP,SAPLANE,SCUSTOM,SCOUNTER,SBOOK,SPFLI,SFLIGHT,SCARPLAN,SCARR, spfli, sflight, saplane, sgeocity, sairport,scustom, sbook, scurx, scurr, sbuspart, scounter.

Thrgh the Transc code<SE11>display mode I am able to see the Field structure of the table but Unable to view its contents even trough Menu>>Utilities>>Table contents >>Display.

The error msg is "NO CHANGES ON SAP OBJECTS ALLOWED".

Evewn after trying thrgh <SE16> I get the same error msg.

I hope now the scenario is clear.

I can't reproduce your problem on my Sneak Preview SAP NetWeaver 04 ABAP valiable at <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/downloaditem?rid=/library/uuid/cfc19866-0401-0010-35b2-dc8158247fb6">sneak Preview SAP NetWeaver 04</a>. Perhaps you should try this version also because it gives you the latest avaliable technology.
