unable to updat sap 4.7 system

Dear all,

i installed sap system ent 4.7 (oracle 9.0.2.0/hpia64).

after installing my kernel patch is 640/21, sap_basis 620 patch 41.

now i am trying to update kernel it shows error "database not available through R3trans"

if i tryto update support pack it is showing tp problem (xpro_execution error)...

what is the first step to update my server.

spam patch is 16.

please let me know which is need to update first.

Hi,

i updated the oracle patch from 9.0.2.0 to 9.0.2.6 but one problem

it is not showing sap system status window

and i have kernel 640/patch 21 not a 620.

please let me know how to resolve this

what is not being shown in the status window? Did you execute all the scripts necessary after the database patch installation? Just installing is not enough...

I highly suggest installing 9.2.0.8 AND the interim patches according to note 938986 - Oracle Database 9.2: Patches for 9.2.0.

Upgrade to a recent kernel version (patchlevel 232).

9.2.0.2 is VERY old - upgrade your database to 9.2.0.8 + necessary interim patches.

6.20 kernel is out of maintenance for a VERY long time. Upgrade your kernel to 6.40, upgrade then your SPAM to the latest patchlevel and then implement the latest supportpackages.

Dear Marks,

Actual problem is other one.

my problem solcved now. i am trying to Apply SAPKB62043 SP. it show XPRA_EXECUTION problem.

"this is information to all tha sap admins."

to solve this problem use SGEN --> Regenerate Existing Load.

run this --we will get success.
