Cannot Make the first login

Hi,

I have installed NW04s SP9 trail version.Installation went successful and it didnt prompt me for a user id while installation

Now which id i should use to login for the first time

please help.

Hi,

Login with your master "password"(which is given at installation level

If it will not work

Reset your sap* password from Os and database level

What database are you running ?

If it is oracle then you can perform below command

first you have to enable profile parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar from standard value 1 to 0, at OS leve

Sqlplus "/as sysdba"

delete from sapr3.usr02 where bname='SAP*' and mandt='000';

commit;

exit

Then login with SAP* (with password pass) in client 000 . You can then

reset password for others systems users (ddic, ...)"

For JAVA:

there is urgent admin user id SAP* which can be used to unlock administrato

r id. To access this id do the following setting:

start the configTool.

Hi Anoop

NW04s doesn't ask for passwords for each user separately, you need to enter one master password only once during the installation, after few initial configuration steps. If you remember the password then you can login into Java stack using the Administrator or j2ee_admin user depending upon instances you have installed (Java only or ABAP+Java)

Hi!

Please check installation documentation on the install disk. There is an html file in the root directory of the installation disk. Go through the screens and you will find list of initial SAP ids with passwords which were created automatically during installation (SAP*, DDIC, ABAP developer).
