Hi,
The sales area given during the creation of the sales order is different from the one in which the quotation was created.
This error message comes due to the copying requirement '001 - Header-same customer' given in the copy control header. This is the third check from last.
Is the sales org. the same in both reference and target?
IF HVBAK-VKORG NE VBAK-VKORG.
MESSAGE E007 WITH HVBAK-VKORG VBAK-VKORG.
ENDIF.
To avoid this error, choose the same sales area as that of the quotation; alternatively you can create a copy of the above standard routine and manipulate the above logic. However keeping different sales areas in subsequent documents may have other impacts on pricing, etc.
Cheers,
KC

Hi
Please goto VTAA and check whether copy controls are maintained between Quotation and Order and also at item category level.
Thanks,
Ravi
