consignment stock

Friends,

I have a doubt about Consignment processing. It might be simple question for you.

Intially i created consignment Fill up for 10 items

then customer stock became 10

created consignment Issues for 5 items

then customer stock became 5

Created consignment Return for 2 items

customer stock became 7

Finally when created Consignment Pick up for same 2 item

Customer stock became again 5 Why?

Another thing, if we collect material from customer premises in CR itself then why consignment pick up?

Please explain. I would like to give point for explanation.

Dear Patil,

The difference between consignment pick-up and consignment return is.

The consignment pick-up will takes place when the goods are not issued to the customer but goods are avail at customer place on behalf of the Company(Owner ship lied with Company).

The company will take back the goods from the customers place

The consignment return will takes place for goods which were issued to the customer(Owner ship lied with the customer).

Hi

The process you have explained in perfectly correct. In your scenario still 5 items should be in special stock and you have to make pick up for that 5 items.

The pickup activity is required to move the stock from Special Stock to the regular stock in our plant.

ok..moved from company stk to customer stk

created consignment Issues for 5 items

then customer stock became 5

customer sold 5 qnty , so reduced to 5

Created consignment Return for 2 items

customer stock became 7

returns came from customer's customer so 5+2=7

Finally when created Consignment Pick up for same 2 item

Customer stock became again 5 Why?

Consignment Pick you have done from customer stock to companys stock, so 7-2=5
