Transport existing DC's into a Track

Hi

I created some Development Components without any Development configuration or Track.

Now it became necessary to use the DTR.

So i created a Domain, Product, CMS and a Track and so on. But how can i transport the existing Dcs into the new Track?

kindest

Pete

Hi Pete,

You cannot transfer such projects into DTR.

You need to create new DC in DTR and manually copy and paste different parts of local dcs to your track dc.

Hi Pete,

But when you try to copy whole component from one to another project, it may give some dependancy errors. So, be careful for that.

Hi Bhavik,

you said you can't insert local developments into a track. But what about moving or copying a DC from one track to another. Is this possible ?

Hi Bhavik,

Yes there are some errors. How can I elemenate them?

Which files must be changed?

Hi Pete,

It depends on the error. What error it is giving?

The error is the follow:

Hi Pete,

Are you using any ejbs in this application?

I guess you have added ejb as used dc in earlier project. So, you also need to add that dc in your newer project.

Make sure for other used dcs also.
