Orders being raised against plant UK appear to be ignoring the fact the 5th May is a public holiday in the UK and are dating incorrectly.
Problem Description
When orders are being raised against sales organization GBA with delivery from plant UK, the dating process appears to be ignoring the fact that the 5th May is a public holiday.
Screen shot below shows the actual dates that were calculated.
I am getting the same problem if I try and enter a new order today. The system is calculating that we are able to deliver these orders on 6th May, which based on the lead time from plant UK the earliest date we should now be able to deliver is 7th May (taking into account weekends and the public holiday).
Can you advise on why the system is dating incorrectly please.
You have to maintain two calendars for your company:
- the holiday calendar
- the factory calendar, which is created on the basis of the holiday calendar.
In transaction SCA4_U, check whether your holiday for 5th is used in public holiday calendar for UK.
In transaction SCA5_D, check for your 5th holiday entry in public holiday calendar for Britain
In transaction SCA6_D, check whether your factory calendar has holiday calendar assigned to it..
Finally check whether you have assigned this factory calendar to your plant and shipping point.
Please reward points for good answers as this would help increase the total donation that SAP will make to the United Nations World Food Programme.

hi,
Go to SPRO - Enterprise Structure -- Definition -- Logistics Execution -- Define, copy, delete, check shipping point -- Define shipping point -- select your shipping point -- click on blue lens --- Times -- note down your factory calender , say ex : '01'.
Go to SPRO - Logistics Execution -- Shipping -- Basic Shipping Functions -- Partners -- Master Data -- Define Customer Calendars -- select factory calendar -- display -- select your factory calendar , say '01' -- display calendar -- select 2008 -- display year and see the holiday of the year.
If needed correct it or go far another factory calender .

Check with your shipping point calender which is assigned for plant.
Make the day 5 may as holiday there.
