Username/Password for SAP MMC

I am trying to start the JAVA AS from MMC , i tried all the possible usernames and passwords but everytime it gives invalid username or password.

Kindly help.

just cshnge the administrator password of ur local machine

then restart

and try it will work

Thanks but I am using web interface i.e. http://IP:5nn13 to start MMC and my instance is on AIX sytem. I used <SID>adm but it didnt work. Do we need to modify any property.

does the username and password work at the AIX console?

Maybe the problem is with you web interface? have your tried using <domain>\<user> as mentioned before?

Yes , is working fine without any problem but am not able to use same username/password for MMC.

Hi,

Try systemname\<sid>adm ......

The password is the one which you have provided at installation.

the username should be <sid>adm if you forgot the password just rest the password as OS level.
