Invoice Printing in Smartform......

Hi All,

Need some help in Invoice Printing(VF03).

We are using the standard program RLB_INVOICE with a Z smartform to print the invoice with 1000 line items.

It is printing pages, but this process is taking a lot of time more than an hour. Total pages printed are 85.

Let us know if there are any limitations in printing the pages in Smartform as we found that for every page the form is calling the Function Module recursively.

Give me some information why it is taking that much in processing the form ?

Hi,

There is no limit for printing of smartforms as per knwldge.May i know few things,

1-Did u hit the database from smartform?

2-Did u see the time take from SAP to printer, this u can see in the popup which u get once the smartforms is transfer to printer.

My suggestion is fetch all the required data to print in the form in the driver program then pass it on to form. this will increase the performance.
