Item alphabetical order on sales order

Hi Wizards,

I have a question .

We put a materials in sales order for example a 10 of different. After that can we set this items on sales order or on delivery in alphabetical order ( from A to Z). It is some option ?

hello, friend.

i am not aware of any options to view items alphabetically, inside the sales order. however, you can have this option when you do VA05 or when using queries.

in VA05, you can list the items of a sales orders and then sort using either the material number column or the material description column. you can do the same in queries (e.g. SQVI).

SAP system uses the functionality of line items and in my opinion it is not possible for materials to be arranged in ascending order.

However you could sort items, as per your requirement, in reports.

I don't think there is a standard option for the same. Can think of an enhancement with the ABAP team.
