HI ALL
WHT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TERMS OF PAYMENT IN FI AND TERMS OF PAYMENT IN SD
REGARDS
RAG
hello, friend.
i have been in a project where there were different payment terms for FI and SD. when you do sales transactions, the system takes the payment terms from the SD side (customer master > sales area data > billing tab). for FI transactions, the system takes from the company code data.
however, i have also been in a project where any data entered in the FI payment terms in customer master also shows up in the sales area data. why this is so, i do not know. but apparently you have these possibilities.
regards.

Dear Tarun
Both are same and there is no difference. In some companies, all payment related transactions will be controlled by FI people and other people cannot access this. In some cases, marketing people will have control as they are the one coordinating with end customer. In order to cater this requirement, SAP has provided this facility.
thanks
