Emigall and implicit enhacement

Former Member

Hi!

We are doing some tests in order to find out if user exit, badis and implicit enhacement affect the behavior of emigall objects.

For example, if we put an error message in an user exit or badi for transaction CAA1, conversion object ACCOUNT stops its execution but in an implicit enhacement, emigall ignores the error and continues its normal execution.

Do you know why emigall ignores implicit enhacement?

Thanks!

Cristian

I think there might be two possible answers:

1) the conversion program is a generated program. Maybe it was generated before you implemented the enhancement?

2) Emigall does not follow the exact flow of programs/functions of the transactions (it skips some parts/checks for performance reasons), so your enhancement might be in a part that is not run during migration.

Have you tried adding a break-point to your enhancement and running emigall in debug mode?
