Hi everybody,
We just finished installing ERP 6.0 IDES and now I need to request the permanent sap license key.
.
Something weird is that when I go to http://service.sap.com/licensekey I can't see my installation number (but I can see the past ones). Do I need to do something in order to see my installation number in this list to request my license key? SAP sent us by mail the customer and installation number... do they need to update something in their webpage?
I've tried going to http://service.sap.com/support (where my oss user has restricted access) - 'System Search' box and there I can open the drop down installation list and I can see the one that I'm looking for. This makes me think that the installation number is somehow there but for some reason I can not see it when I want to request my license... do I need to do something? is it about my oss user authorizations?
Any ideas?
Thanks a lot!
Hi. Yes it's your oss user authorizations. Your enterprise must have SUPER ADMINISTRATOR oss authorizations. Ask this man to give you required authorizations.
P.S. To check who is (may be it you) Go to -->
http://service.sap.com/sscr (in rigth you can chek your super administrator man)and if you can change your oss user --> My Company's Registrations , find your user and change like you need.
Regards.

Actually, I asked the oss administrator about that and he told me he doesnt see the installation number I'm looking for in the list (http://service.sap.com/licensekey) that's why I was wondering if we need to make something else in order to see that installation number to request the license key.
Maybe he needs to make something at http://service.sap.com/support?
Thanks!
All installations are maintain under
http://service.sap.com/system-data . Are you can find you
system number here ? Regards.
When I click in the drop down list (System Search box) I can see my installation number. But when I press search all (choosing * for installations) I see all the other installations but not the one I'm looking for. I've tried choosing my installation number (system search) and pressing search, but it doesnt show anything!
thanks,
Jessica.
The FAQ for your situation :
What can I do if I cannot see my installation number?
Check your license key request authorization using service.sap.com/user-admin or ask your super administrator. If your authorization is okay your hardware record has expired and you have to open a message under component XX-SER-GEN-CONTR or contact SAP's contract department
(If you wish to call up an installation, open a message in same component XX-SER-GEN-CONTR).
P.S. Also you can try to check your system to another sap server --> like websmp209, websmp102, websmp106, websmp205 or other, maybe for some tehnical problems the data for you r system are only in 1 server and for the present are not synchronized today.
Regards.
