11.5 Menu Migration

We are currently running the migration tool to migrate from 11.5 to version 12.0. The first thing we noticed is that the Menus are not migrated .

Any ideas on how to migrate the menus ?

Note 1149461 , although is not related directly to your issue , but states some probable reasons for the behavior you are observing.

Because the User Management is different in 12.0 and the navigation depends upon the Users/Roles, I would think this is the reason why the Navigation is not migrated with the rest of the 11.5 configuration.

I would think you will have to create the navigation manually unless you get a different response on your thread.

The migration tool will migrate users/roles into UME from static LHSecurity users, but this option must be selected on the configuration window. Navigation links by role/user will also get migrated.

Thanks for clarifying that.

I was looking @ an earlier migration tool version and wasn't sure on the changes with the latest.

Would clicking on the "Security" check box accomplish this?

Because the note I mentioned above states that roles are not migrated and have to be created manually.

Did you mean Navigation?
