Installing multiple instances on NT/db2 environment

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has experience installing an 4.7 R/3 on an NT/DB2 environment. I want to install more than one instance on this environment. Is this possible?

I am, not worried about performance....I am just wondering if more than one instance can on one NT server.

Thanks in advance,

Jeff

Not sure about 4.7, but as 6.40 does clearly, I'd wonder if this would not work before.

Thanks Benny...the reason I asked....previously with Oracle you could not....so I was not sure about DB2.

Thanks,

Yes, you can do that with 47/DB2.

You can always install multiple SAP instances with Oracle. SAP releases 47 and above support MCOD and they can share the same DB instance. Prior releases will require separate DB instances.
