SC rejected in webfrontend but system interpretes it as approved in SAP gui

Hello All,

I have peculiar issue on SC workflow.

The approver Rejects a SC in web front end but the system log in SAP gui reflects as the SC was approved.

The status in the workflow log displays as Approved and the follow on documents are created in the backend R/3.

Is there anyway we can trace what exactly the approver had done in web frontend ? Also how to prevent such issues from reoccurring ?

Hi,

Please try this.

1. BBP_PD, open the SC

Find the workflow item ID

2. SWI1, paste the workflow item id

3. Check the workflow log

Go to technical log

4. Find the approval step and check the container value for APPROVALSTATE

What is the value 1,2,3 ?

Thanks for your reply.

I have checked that and the status is either 0 or 1. Here it's "0" which means it's approved.

Is there any other way where we can track the actions done in web front end ?

Which version are you in and what is the SP level.

Refer this note Note 361601 - Shopp.baskt apprvd although all lines were refused, this one is old enough.

If this is too old for you look for OSS notes, these are WF std bugs in SRM.

Hello Imthiaz,

We are in SRM 4.0 SP level 4.

I dont think the SAP note is relevant for our backend system.

Any other suggestions on this issue ?
