JCO Connection Problem

Hi All,

I have installed Web As 7.0 ABAP and JAVA separately , both on windows platform with oracle database.

I have checked all the SLD settings, which seems to be okay as per my observations. However, when I create the 'VIRSAXSR3_01_METADATA' JCO, its ping and test are unsuccesfull.

Kindly help me to solve this problem

Faisal,

Have you checked the Parameter Values like Username and password, Language etc..

Provide the Error Message that you are getting when testing the JCO:

'VIRSAXSR3_01_METADATA'

you need to add one entry in JAVA system service file

service file is located in c:\windows\system32\drives\etc

add following entry

sapmsSID 36<nr>

SID of ABAP system must be given nr: sys number of abap

you can also get this entry from ABAP system services file just copy and paste same in JAVA system
