CIF: Queue with large quantity of entries

Former Member

Dear all,

We have some queues blocked in the CIF (from APO to R/3) which are coming from planned orders.

What is very strange with theses queues is that they have alle about 200'000 entries! As this very big quantity of entries can not be handelt in a short time, they are blocked (i think so). There is no error.message but the nomber of entries is not changing.

The planned ordre are correct and nothing special.

Do you have already seen queues like this (with a lot of entries)? Do you now where this could coming from?

What can we do to correct them?

Thank you and best regards,

Thomas

Hi Thomas,

Quickly you can check following things:-

1. User setting

-R/3 T-CD CFC2 (For debuf Area, please check whether your user has "R" or not)

-APO T-CD /SAPAPO/C4 (For debug, please check whether your user has "R : debug on" or not)

2. Queue scheduler setting in both system

Inbound scheduler

T-CD SMQR please make sure whether you have inbound scheduler setting.

If there is not, you can create it by hitting Registration button.

"Registration" => Queue Name CF*, and lest of it can be leave as default.

Outbound scheduler

T-CD SMQS

Please make sure you have entry to your SCM system.

Type should be "R". If it is not R, outbound scheduler is not activated.

So please select entry and and hit registration button again. Then type will change

3.Also check in APO SPRO ->Publication setting –“Maintain Distribution definition “

Whether In-house production is maintained or not.

4. Then Try to push Q from SAPAPO/CQ and check the log if still error exist.

Dear Samir,

Thank you for answer.

1.User Settings are deactivated on both systems

2. SMQR and SMQS exists in both systems but the "Scheduler Status" is "Inactiv". What does this means?

3. “Maintain Distribution definition “ ==> is OK

4. I tried to push one of them, but as they are so big it will takes long time and I'm not sure if they are passing.

Do you have an other idea?

Thanks,

Thomas

To clean the CIF - interface we deleted theses queues. For the moment we don't have new and I think it was a unique case...

Thanks for your help,

Hi,

for a very fast deletion of queues you can also use following reports:

RSTRFCQD (for outbound queues)

RSTRFCID (for inbound queues)

We used these reports in a similar situation when it was not possible to delete them manually in passable time. See also notes 763255 and 760113

Kind regards,

Christian
