Hi all,
I am trying to send idocs from an R3 system into XI. I have done the folowing:
In R3: (log sysID = ''DEV100')
- create rfc destination 'SAPXI' in sm59 (type 3 abap connection)
- create partner profile we20
- create tRFC port in WE21
In XI: (log sysID = ''SAPXI')
- create RFC destination 'DEV100' in sm59 (type 3 abap connection)
- create port in IDX1
- create business systems in SLD and import in integration builder
when i try to send idoc (WE19) the error appears:
Idoc <NR> was saved but cannot or should not be sent
What am i doing wrong?
THx in advance
Philip
Hi Cernum,
There seems to be some problem with the ALE settings you have done...
Follow the steps mentioned. and reward points if helpful
Steps for ALE settings:-
Steps for XI
Step 1)
Goto SM59.
Create new RFC destination of type 3(Abap connection).
Give a suitable name and description.
Give the Ip address of the R3 system.
Give the system number.
Give the gateway host name and gateway service (3300 + system number).
Go to the logon security tab.
Give the lang, client, username and password.
Test connection and remote logon.
Step 2)
Goto IDX1.
Create a new port.
Give the port name.
Give the client number for the R3 system.
Select the created Rfc Destination.
Step 3)
Goto IDX2
Create a new Meta data.
Give the Idoc type.
Select the created port.
Steps for R3.
Step 1)
Goto SM59.
Create new RFC destination of type 3(Abap connection).
Give a suitable name and description.
Give the Ip address of the XI system.
Give the system number.
Give the gateway host name and gateway service (3300 + system number).
Go to the logon security tab.
Give the lang, client, username and password.
Test connection and remote logon.
Step 2)
Goto WE21.
Create a port under transactional RFC.(R3->XI)
Designate the RFC destination created in prev step.
Step 3)
Goto SALE.
Basic settings->Logical Systems->Define logical system.
Create two logical systems(one for XI and the other for R3)
Basic settings->Logical Systems->Assign logical system.
Assign the R3 logical system to respective client.
Step 4)
Goto WE20.
Partner type LS.
Create two partner profile(one for XI the other for R3).
Give the outbound or inbound message type based on the direction.
Step 5)
Goto WE19
Give the basic type and execute.
fill in the required fields.
Goto IDOC->edit control records.
Give the following values.(Receiver port, partner no.,part type and sender Partner no. and type)
Click outbound processing.
Step 6)
Go to SM58
if there are any messages then there is some error in execution.
Goto WE02.
Check the status of the IDOC.
Goto WE47.
TO decode the status code.
Step 7)
Not mandatory.
Goto BD64.
Click on Create model view.
Add message type.
BD87 to check the status of IDOC.
In case if not authorized then go to the target system and check in SU53, see for the missing object
and assign it to the user.
SAP r3
sm59(status check)(no message)
WE02(status check)
WE05(status check)
BD87(status check)

hi,
Did you chk that
1) The Partner Profile that you specified in we20 for R3
should be same as the Logical Name specified for R3 in
SLD of XI
2) Also did you assign the IDOC in outbound parameters
the partner profile

The reason for this issue is that you have not filled the control record correct.
Make sure that the sender partner and receiver partner values corrrespond to the logical system names you have used in your partner profile in we20. Sender Partner Name should be your R/3 logical system name, and Receiver Partner Name should be the Logical System name for which you have created an Outbound Entry in We20.The Sender port and receiver port also should be the one created in We21 for XI, and SAP+"SYSID" for R3
after completing the we19 ,if you click on oubound , you got the error that IDoc saved but not pushed right,
see first check partner profile is properly configured or not for outbound IDoc type,
next check distribution model is configured or not .check port also.
every thing configured correct, then use se38 and run the program RBDMOIND.

IDOC not reaching XI
/people/sravya.talanki2/blog/2005/10/27/idoc146s-not-reaching-xi133-not-posted-in-the-receiver-sap-systems133
Troubleshooting IDOC scenario
1. Start with checking the status in sm58 of sender R/3
Follow the steps
2. Try deleating the IDoc from IDX2 and refiring the same.
3. Check your RFC destination definition (the one pointing to your XI server) to confirm that it is of type '3' (R/3 system) and not 'T' (TCP/IP).
In your ID, in the Sender Business System --> Adapter Specific Identifiers, give the logical name for the business System pointing to the R3 system
4. Monitor the SM58 in R/3 for IDOC status.
5. Trouble shooting file to IDOC and IDOC to file

IDOC to File steps to be followed please verify your scenario with it
R3 system.
1. Create SM 59 RFC destination to XI,.
2. We21 - Create port to XI.
3. We 20 -- Maintain Partner Profile for the outbound Idoc.
XI SLD
1. Create technical system for R3 system
2. Create Business System for the Client of the R3 system.

/people/ravikumar.allampallam/blog/2005/02/23/configuration-steps-required-for-posting-idocsxi
These are the required steps for IDoc to File scenario...
In R3 (i.e., your IDES system)...
RFC dest to XI (sm59) - any name
Logical system (bd54) - any name
Port to XI (we21) - any name
Partner profile for the logical system (we20) - use Logical system name created in bd54
In XI...
RFC dest to R3 (sm59) -
Port to R3 (idx1) -
create metadata for the idoc (idx2)
In sld...
create business system for R3 with Logical system name as r3 sys.
In we19
and give in control record as
Sender : Port ; Partner
Receiver : Port = <Port created in WE21> ; Partner = <Partner created in we20>

You also need to create partner profile
go to WE20 of R/3 system
In LS -- > you have to maintain Partner profile for XI mentioning IDoc as outbound parameter
