Charm: BP problem with the user

Former Member

Hi!

I have problem with the user for the usage of ChaRM.

When I try to set the the (urgent) correction in Development i get the following error.

There is no valid business partner assigned to your user.

Meanwhile the appropriate BP-entry for the user exists:

External BP number: <SID> <CLNT> <user name>

Identification number: <SID> <installation number> <user name>

Furthermore I have the following error, when I try to approve the change request:

Partner 141 (Change-Manager) is neither an employee nor an organizational unit

I would be great to get some help here.

Thank you

regards

Thom

Hi Thomm,

1. There is no valid business partner assigned to your user.

In BP under identification tab,

ID type idenification number

CRM001 <SID> <installation number><CLNT><username>

2.Partner 141 (Change-Manager) is neither an employee nor an organizational unit

Assign the BP role as "Employee" for Change Manager

Hallo Naveen,

many thanks for your response.

1. There is no valid business partner assigned to your user.

Exactly this value I added in BP:

In BP under identification tab,

ID type idenification number

CRM001 <SID> <installation number><CLNT><username>

BUT:

I get the same error

Do you have perhaps other suggestions?

Thank you!

Hi Thomm,

Actually this should work, check the format again

<SID> <installation number> <CLNT> <business partner name>

other way is through dswp open your solution which is having the particular satellite system then choose

menu Edit --> create business partner

select your satellite system through Add button, select your user and click on create business partner button.

Hi!

Thank you very much,

the other way (dswp --> local solman_solution, Edit --> create business partner) was helpful.
