Delivery from Project for the Assembly: sales order item

Hi,

When I create a sales order lets say for material "A".

And I want to deliver this component from sales order. With Production order.

I have attached the material "A" in Project to an activity with a positive quantity, in MD04 I am unable to see the planned order for that.

Project is released and it has created a order reservation but i am unable to convert it into the Planned order how it can be achieved.

Material is not relevent for the MRP.

Please suggest some solution.

Hi

Go in md51 t code.Tick mark with hierarchy and select 3 in first three as 3 in mrp control parameters. now u can see plnd order ,pr and all the details related with that project

Hi,

Please run project MRP (MD51), selecting option 3 (planned orders) against create P.req. field under MRP control parameters tab.

Planned orders will be created automatically & u can see in MD04 also.

the material is maintained for ND. and not PD.

So the MRP will not achive the desired result.

Urs is no project stock scenario or stock scenario?

If its project stock scenario, even ND - no planning is thr, u can run MD51...

hi,

The indiavidual/collective indicator in MRP4 of the MM is set as blank.

And the overall stock is Nil at the project as well as the stock level.

Please check under control data of project definition for whether valuated stock or no stock scenario.

Hi

I can create the planned order for that material but it is a manual process,

How do i create it from proejct system automatically.

Again MRP is set to NS.

So MRP is not helping.
