Loop back adapter loads slowly,why?

Hi,my system boots very slowly and I get the foollowing error : 'At Least one service or driver failed during startup.Use event Viewer to examine the event log for details' after that only my loopback adapter loads.What might be the problem? what I can do to remove this slow booting while I have Core 2 Duo 2.2 processor with 2 GB RAM.

Hi,

looks like generic os problem which is not related with SAP.

check in event viewer which services is fail to load.

you can stop unnecessary process from windows services.

Thanks Kushal,One Oracle HTTP service no startng and thats why Loopback adapter was loading slowly.I have stopped that service and it is loading in less than 56 seconds.Points Rewarded.

Is your adapter configured to use DHCP? In that case, Windows will wait for a DHCP server to reply to the requests and will wait several minutes before putting a default addresse of 169.x.x.x.

If that is the case configure a fixed IP (no matter which one).

And did you have a look in the event log for that error you get?

Have u follow all the OS setup ?

Like your paging size (3-4 times your RAM)

Which version of SAP your are using ?

ECC consume mo memory than SAP R/3 4.7 (so may be your memory not enough)

If you are using windows server. check the task manager memory consumtion.
