SDM Login ERROR

hi

when i click on RemoteGUI.bat in C:\usr\sap\J2E\JC02\SDM\program

it gives me a log on screen to login to SDM GUI

here i enter my pwd of Administrator but it gives me a ERROR saying

Login Attempt Failed

ERROR "Could not establish connection to server at port 50218.Connection refused: connect"

When using the SDM login, it is the Administrator's password that is being used to login. I would suggest that you make sure the Administrator is updated in the admin tool and the secure store in the configtool. In the past I have recieved the same error and that was because the configtool tool adminstrator's password had not been updated. Once the secure store password was updated, I then went into NWDI and did a update CMS. Once the update completes, you should be able to move transports without the error. Let me know if this helps.

Hi,

1) Check if SDM is started.

2) Check the port of SDM http://<server>:<default port>/index.html them click in System Info and find de port of SDM

The SDM password can be different of Administrator password. If you don’t remember the SDM password see this thread to change.
