Run time error comes because of some field mismatch or any inconcistencies with the ABAP code associated with that function. Any time if you get runtime error just go to debugger and you can know form whre the error is coming.
Once runtime error comes, just click on the debugger , you can see the watch point. then you can know the exact problem ,from which field it is happening.
