Availability check

Hi Gurus,

Could some one answer following questions?

1. When i call Create quoation BAPI, Does availability check happens? (BAPI_QUOTATION_CREATEFROMDATA2)

2. When i create sales order with respect to Quotation, Does availability check happens?

Availability Check will happen at both steps i.e Quotation & Sales Order. The functionality at quotation level is only to check the availability & incase of sales order, it confirms the delivery date in schedule line for actual delivery.

Hi,

Availabilty check happens if the material in question has availabilty check activated. If for the quotation document and Sales Order Document if you mainatianed the availabilty check condition then it would happen at both level.
