Hi,
Fi people maintain tax condition rates in FTXP transactions in a tax code and in SD tax conditions are maintained in VK11 using the same tax code.
Now my question is what is the relation between these two tax rates?
Regards,
Ajit
Hi ajit
FI consultants maintain tax codes and in tax codes they maintain the tax rates.FI consultants maintain tax rates on the basis of country .
They create tax codes in FTXP
SD consultants maintain tax rates in conditon records in VK11. Now these tax rates are determined on the basis of CMR and MMR .That means , tax is determined on the basis of ship to party region and the material taxes will be standard as per the business requirements

Dear Ajit
FI people in FTXP, based on the origin country and a tax code, they are defining what should be the tax rate. SD people, when they create sale order, tax code will flow based on the combination maintained in UTXJ. In short, FI people will define the tax rate and SD people will decide what tax rate should flow for the ship to destination.
thanks
