Dear Gurus,
How do we release change requests in our module and how often we release them.
Thanks
Hi,,
Go to Se09 there give your request number then execute there it will show your request. Please select the task first under that request then click on release button (Lorry ICon) then select the main request and click on release button again. the request will be releaed. In that process system will ask u the source client and target client. Please maintain this also..
It depends on client. In some clients they will do weekly once and in some they will do daily..There is no specific time to release task to production...
Regards
Sankar

Hello,
Releasing the change request and transporting it across the sytems is the job of BASIS consultant. This is one of the critical part. As you are aware, there will be a lot of change requests created by different consultants for different changes, if you accidently relase any of them and transport across the systems, it can lead to many issues.

Hi raj
Go to SE09 or SE10 and select the customizing requests and enter and then release. Releasing the requests from one server to another server is the duty of the BASIS consultants.
Releasing the requests depends on the business requirements

Hi
You can release the transport request through SE10 transaction.
These are released depending on the business requirements and when the requirement arises, you carry out the config changes in development client and save under a transport request and release to test in SE10.
