SOAP: call failed: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out

Hi All,

We are receiver the following error in XI system in SOAP receiver adaptercase. But Message is reaching to Target system. Since XI is recevint timeout error, so XI is re-sending the message and its leading to duplication of messages at target system.

Is the solution is to increase the "WS Clients Socket Timeout" paramter more than 600 seconds in "visual admin => cluster => server => services=>web services container"? Currently its already 600 seconds and we are facing the issue.

Please let us know the solution.

Will give you Reward points.

Thanks,

Ramesh

Have a look at SAP note 893713. They say, that you can enter a parameter to your SOAP Receiver Module, for example

soap XMBWS.Timeout <time in milliseconds>

Hi Ramesh jogula,

Check in the sender communication channel if you have given the processing mode DELETE, cos if you havent everytime the file will get picked up and will get the redundant data at the Receiver side.

And also refer the following link:
