Hi friends,
Basically i want to know something regarding how much relation is there for sap-sd and dbm. is there any integration part or not. i think most probably both are different modules which is like no relation.
Hi,
SD and DBM is linked tightly integrated. Following are the highlights:
1. Define SD order type and assign with DBM order type configuration.
2. Define SD billing type and assign with DBM order type configuration
3. Define SD proforma billing type and assign with DBM order type configuration
4. Define default SD partner function and assign with DBM order type configuration
5. Set SD order to Billing copy control.
6. Define SD customer account group configuration
7. Define SD partner determination.
8. Use same SD material master views and customer master maintainance
9. Define SD pricing procedure in V/08 and SD pricing condition type configurations.
10. Define SD warranty related pricing configuration for warranty claim processing in OWTY transaction.
11. Table pattern of SD is same as DBM example, SD table name VBAK is replaced in DBM
as /DBM/VBAK_DB.
Fundamental foundation of DBM is SD module of SAP R/3.

Hi
DBM has an own object called DBM order and uses severall objects out of SD like
billing
partner determination
pricing
customer
in the end DBM creates an SD invoice
if you want to know more about DBM please visit the SAp education portal where you can find the relevant training courses
