Hi Vijay,
Vault is a server that can be accessed in the local network. When you save the original application file to a vault, the system assigns a new file name that is invisible. For this reason, you can only process original application files stored in a vault from the DIR.
Files that are stored in an archive or vault subject and managed by the SAP System are first stored in a temporary file on the frontend computer.
This server cannot be accessed from front end computer within the file system.

Hi Vijay,
1)right click on the originals, select copy to the pop up will appear under file name File name
Data crrier and original. Do not enter anything on data carrier but in original select the path where you want to copy the file, click on wright botton. Thus you can find original file in your local desk.
2) There are two different secure storage areas in SAP Document management :
1) DMS storage
i) SAP DB
ii) Vault
iii) RFC Archive
2) Kpro Storage
i)SAP DB
ii)HTTP Content server
