Batch determination in SD

dear Gurus

i have made all configuration regarding batch management and have created condition record by VCH1 for the material and assign

selection criteria as for Expiration date and sort rule as per Expiration Date in ascending. but when i going to deliver that material i m facing one problem that In delivery, batch does not determined by the system and

giving message " selection class 023_002 does not contain any

selection criteria" but i have maintained in CL02 the characteristics

LOBM_VFDAT.

please give me solution, points will be rewarded

I am not clear with your error. Can you be more Explanatory. I think i can help you.

Tell me did you get batch in the Sales Order or not.

hi pavan

i am not getting batch no from sales order but system gives

information message "batch determination cannot be possible" . i

saved this sales order then when i go for delivery and select batch

determination where sytem gives me message that "selection class

023_002 does not have selection criteria. but i have maintained

selection criteria in VCH1 for that material.

please give me solution its urgent. points will be rewarded...

Hi,

I guess the error message does not pertain to VCH1; but it may have something to do with the class itself. Either the right class has not been maintained in the settings or the class does not have the characteristics.

In CL02 transaction, check if the 'Char' tab has the appropriate selection criteria maintained.
