Hi Experts,
Come again with a problem.
we upgrade our hardware of PRD system .than now we have a
PRD system & old PRD system (dumy) .Both system have same SID. In our working PRD :-
AIX5.3 operating System,Oracle 9.2 SAPR/3 4.7.
And in our oldPRD(dummy)
AIX 5.1 operating System,Oracle 9.2 SAPR/3 4.7.
Now we are working on new PRD from last 1 month. Now our managment want to restore the backup of newPRD to oldPRD(Backup of last 1 month).
we are taking backup(newPRD) in Tape using DB13.
Now can any one tell me ,how can i restore backup using this tape in oldPRD.

Hi,
In this case you can either use the os commands to retrive the data from the tape to the target location,or use brtools ,here there is an option to specify the 'Restore destination'.

When i run brtools than it not gives any option for backup location. I am sending you brtools opition

8 - BRRECOVER command line (command) . [-p initPRD.sap -t complete -i 30 -s 20 -l E]
Standard keys: c - cont, b - back, s - stop, r - refr, h - help
