QM certificate configuration

Hi

I have a requirement whereby at every outbound delivery , a certificate will get issued.

how would I go about doing this right from the start ?

I know the outbound deliv. scenario & the subsequent billing scenario, but what configurations are to be made so that an outbound delivery will issue the certificate. I would need the QM-side configurations in steps please(considering Material is deliver ready and about to create billing documents, stage).

actually I am going through the course materials but am not able to link the information that I actually need.There's a lot of information on inspection lots, qm planning, qm in production ,qm in goods movement etc ,but if I can just find that I need this , how a PGI will make a certificate.

Hi,

1)Create certificate profile by QC01

2) Assign the profile to the material

3) assign the MIC or characteristics which you want on certificate

4) Release the profile and save

Create delivery

Use t code QC20 to get certificate view

Ok, I have the certificate profile , so How do I achieve Point #2 (Assign the profile to the material)
