Dear Vicky

faced the same problem last week.First of all this standard password for SAP* 0607.. can be changed during implementation as everybody knows this.For e.g my company has an entirely different password so need not to worry if it is not taking 0607..or pass for SAP* and 1992.. or pass for DDIC.

Now the later part.Copy SAP_ALL profile then you will not face any problem.I also at first copied CUST_ALL profile and faced exactly the same problem as you.When I copied SAP_ALL everything starts working fine for the newly created client.

PLz dont forget to reward points if this helps for u.

Hi,

When you create a new client, always the default password for sap* will be 'pass'.

Here you performed the client copy with SAP_CUST profile which copies only the customizing data and wil not copy the user master records.

If you want get the all the user names and their passwords from the source client to target client, then you need to perform client copy with SAP_USER profile. This task will be over writing the existing user master records in the target client.

About Country and currency codes, go through SPRO.

Thanks,

The parameter - login/no_automatic_user_sapstar must be having value 0. Hence the default password for SAP* is 'pass'

For country and currency issue,

Go to Transaction SPRO

Click on SAP Reference IMG

Expand --> SAP Netweaver > General Setting>Currencies

Expand --> SAP Netweaver > General Setting>Set countries

Hi,

If we copy sap_all all the data will be copied. at the same time database will also increase.

If we go with cust_all we can restrict the database space to some extent.
