Hi Everyone,
Is there a way that we could make Costs from Reservations be considered at Commitment check?
Problem for us is that since budget checking from reservations are only done during Good Issuance, insufficient budgeting usually arises during GI...
Is there a standard setting for this, or a User Exit?
Thanks a lot!!!
Joed
Hai,
As said reservation is not considered as commitment in Stnd SAP.
Reservation is always considered as an intention so no commitments are posted.
However , if a reservation is created for a manfactured item and a Prod order is generated in susequent MRP run, Budget availability will be chacked for every operation confirmation in Prod order. If budget gets exhausted in between, system will not allow you to post additional confirmations unless you assign additional budget. (Assuming you have set Error if budgets exceeds in tolerance limit).
If You are generating PRs for a externally procured item from MRP than budget availability will be checked when PR is cnverted to PO.
If a reservation is created for a stock item , Budget availability will come in to picture at GI.
I think with above functionality, budget availability features can be met.
Thanks

Hi,
1. For this you need to change the settings in the SPRO>Project System>costs> budget>Define tolerance limit.
Here I believe you must be having the "03" as Tr. Gr, you need ti change it to "++" so that the budget availability will be checked the PR/PO Creation.
2. Once this change is done you need to run T.Code CJBN..
thanks!
