How to debug error status on outbound side.

Former Member

Hi.

In one of the xml messages, outbound status is error (Red flag) where as the overall mesage status is "Processed successfully"

BPM is involved in the process . Steps are as follows:

Start---> Receive (Open S/A bridge) -> transform -

> Send (Closes S/A bridge)--> Stop

When i click inbound (PE), workflow log is opened and all the steps are completed. But, when i click on Outbound (PE), Event queue browser is opened and there the status of the event is "Waiting because of e".

I've seen in SXI_CACHE, return code is 0 for all the processes.

Please suggest steps to debug the error. I'm unable to find out the exact error message.

Regards,

Praveen.

Is there an error message?

When I place the pointer on the red flag, the message is "Message has error status on oubound side".

Other than that i couldn't see any error message. Please guide how to proceed.

Hi,

open the message (with double click).

Under the red flag must be an entry SOAP Header --> Error (double click on it).

Then you should see the error message.

Patrick - I opened the xml message .... In the left pane, no error flag exists and at the end, response is processed successfully.

Chirag - The xml message that i got in sxi_monitor doesn't belogs to an individual scenario (like File to File), it is one of the messages that is generated while accessing through portal. However, the message is sent to ABAP proxy in this instance.

Thanks.

Hi,

here are two threads about your 'Waiting because of e' problem:
