Collect and Resend messages when SAP(R/3) is unavailable

Hi,

My Scenario is that Source system sends (using HTTP adapter) messages (asynchronously)

via XI to R/3(Idoc adapter) and R/3 will be unavailable for some hours . I know ( if i am right|) that XI

tries to resend these messages. My questions are:

1) How long XI tries to resends these messages and how could it be controlled ( extending the time

for resending these messages) ?

2) Can these resented manually from XI?

I will really appreciate any help, idea.

If a receiver system is not available, the Adapter Engine tries to resend the messages.

You can determine the number of attempts made to resend and the intervals between retries for each receiver channel individually in the communication channel monitor.

The default values are taken from the parameters xiadapter.outbound.numberRetries.default and xiadapter.outbound.retryInterval.default of service SAP XI Adapter: XI.

2) Can these resented manually from XI?

Yes These Can be Resent Manually from XI for that you can use option Resend Message Available in SXMB_MONI and there is another option available in RWB RESEND to send your Message again.

Hi,

it is possible to resend the messages manually in XI.

Go to RWB ---> Select Message Monitoring --> select ur messges there is 'Resend' option is there.

Yes u can send failure messages manually from SXMB_MONI

as well as from RWB.

The message will fail after some times.

You can resend the messages from RWB.

RWB>Component monitoring>Test Message.

Hi,

you can schedule your adapter according to avialiblity

of R/3.

we can reset these message from RWB.

where we have an option to test from integration engine
