Hi, I am working on the solutioning of a petrochemical company. They have production planning requirements which are primarily around converstion of Ethane --> Ethylene --> Polyehelene. The key requirement is to have a balanced line between the capacities of these sub plants. There are some constrains around planning containers and their storages as well. Understand that SCM 5.1 has some functionality to address these requirements. Anyone having any experience / documentation on this please share, the same would be very helpful.
Warm Regards,
Mukesh
Hi Mukesh,
Yes, SCM has the functionality to take account of this constraints.
You use the SNP module . below is the link of documentation on SNP
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm50/helpdata/en/1c/4d7a375f0dbc7fe10000009b38f8cf/frameset.htm
You can map the contraints by creating seperate resources for storage, Production, Handling, Transportation etc at the sub plant/ Network.
regards
Kumar
