Hi Friends,
Is there a possibility to re-run a job if it has failed from transaction sm37, without changing its original schedule start time and date.
If I click on the job and then go to job, repeat scheduling, immediate start and save it does that change the jobs original schedule start time and date.
I know we can do it from se38 by inputting the program name and run it in the background but wanted to know if we can do through sme37.
Thanks
Hi,
You can choose the cancel job - go to the Job menu - Click Repeat Schedule (CtrlShiftF1) - you will get few option choose Immediate then click Right button. Your job will start and get the result.

Hi,
No, when you use "Repeat Scheduling", the job keeps the same values (date, etc.) that the first run, even if it was a dynamic date calculation.

Hi,
These are three objects which are used for job scheduling
S_BTCH_ADM
S_BTCH_JOB
S_BTCH_NAM
By maintaining the auth values for S_BATCH_JOB you can save the job for the next run(check all the objects if you need more options)
