separate number ranges for single billing document type

Hello all,

How can i create 2 separate number ranges for single billing document type..because i need to maintain seperate accountability each.. plz sugest...

Hi san rao ,

For all the Billing document the number ranges are Internal. When you create Bill/Invoice the number generates automatically, i think for different accounting purposes you can consult your FI consultant. as in real time scenario...i dont think you need two separate number ranges.

Hello,

As you know the system will not allow external number ranges to billing documents. In standard SAP it is not possible to have two numbers for the same document. I don't understand the necessity of the same. Anyway if it is an invevitable requirement, you need to talk to an ABAP consultant for a possible enhancement to achieve the same.
