MDM as the 'Single Version of Truth'

Hi guys

Here is the scneario:

Existing Multiple ECC systems (ECC 6.0)

Fresh SRM system (SRM 5.0)

Fresh MDM system

The ECC systems might have some duplicate vendor/material master records.

So, MDM will consolidate all the vendor/material master records and only send the applicable ones to SRM.

Concerns:

1) We have bbpgetvd for vendor replication from ECC to SRM. But, when we talk abt vendor replication from MDM-SRM, it has to be done via XI using some mappings. So, is it feasible? Has it been done before? How much of effort is needed from SRM side to achive this?

2) We have CRM Middleware for material replication from ECC to SRM. But, when we talk abt material replication from MDM-SRM, it has to be done via XI using some mappings. So, is it feasible? Has it been done before? How much of effort is needed from SRM side to achive this?

3) How will the delta uploads/synchronization be managed?

4) Are there any other issues with this scenario?

Any relevant information would be highly appreciated.
