Default insertion of PM Activity Type on a MAM Work Order

Hi,

I have been having trouble with the PM Activity type when a work order is created from a mobile device. The SAP solution we are using has been set up to not user activity types in the backend. This is not a problem for standard PM orders. When we create a work order on a mobile device the system requires a PM activity type. Is there anyway from preventing MAM from using PM Activity type as this is not something the standard R/3 implementation uses?

Please provide assistance.

I am not sure what you mean with: it requires......

But lets tell it like that: if the client does not allow you to create a order without entering PM type - enhance the UI so it allows you to do that. How to enhacne the UI you can see in the enhancements guides available on the same place yopu find the inst guides for xMAM.

If you get an error in MEREP_MON while processing this change, you need to do some coding in the BADI (SE19) implementation for MAM001_create. This is described fairly good in the enhancement guides as well.

At least ne of these two solutions should cure your problem and allow you to create orders in the same way on the mobile device like you do it in the backend.
