assign an user to a business partner of a vendor

hi,

I have to assign an user created in SU01 to a contact person (business partner) of a vendor.

I can't use the transaction users_gen because that contact person is not an employee of my company and I can't assign this business partnet to my organizational plan

Has anybody some idea to help to me?

log in with administrator in srm

(user with role SAP_BBP_STAL_ADMINISTRATOR)

go to "manage business partner"

go to option "Employee for business partner"

give the BP no of yr vendor

then create contact person

to award the user role e.g..... stal_bidder to the vendor contact person

first yr admin should have this role in attribute user role

Hi,

For the vendor BP,you need to create an Employee thorugh transaction BP.Then for the BP of the employee,in trascn BP,under IDENTIFICATION tab,you can assign the Required User name.
