Hi zhang

In VKOA (revenue account determination),chart of accounts is by default INT. All G/L accounts are assigned to these chart of accounts .When you go to OBYC and select GBB(off set inventory posting) it asks for chart of accounts as in that chart of accounts only all G/L accounts are there.

Because system should know from which chart of accounts the assigned G/L accounts are being taken .That is the reason we are giving chart of accounts in revenue account determination

Srinath

Hi

This is related to FI. It is a group of GL Accounts. The term Chart is a dictionary term which means a Group. Each company code uses one Chart of Account and all the GL accounts will be assigned to this Chart of Accounts. If there are multiple company codes operating in different countries, then different chart of accounts will be used. A Group chart of Accounts also will be updated and these Company Code/country chart of accounts are assigned to this Group chart of accounts. It updates the overall values at higher level for all the company codes.

This is my idea about the concept and you can get a clear picture if you post a thread in FI forum(ERP Financials).

Thanks,

Ravi
