Control : Text Box With Vertical Scroll Bar

Hi All,

Is there any control available in the library, like text box with vertical scroll bar. In my form there is a text box if the content is more it should have a vetical scroll bar and should take the whole text. My client needs text box with vertical scroll bar, it is mandatory, kindly suggest whether such type of control is available in library or not if it is available then what is control name and it's category( standard,custom, webdynpro activex, webdynpro native, form builder, Isr controls, isr native controls etc..). Thanks in advance.

Hi Venkat,

For getting multiple lines input from user you can use the text field itself and check marking the Allow Multiple Lines check box under Object > Field properties. Increase the size as desired by setting custom Width and Height properties in Layout properties tab.

Hi Venkat,

In select the textbox and go to object tab-->field tab. and select the check box allow multiple lines.

It will work as you require.
