Hi...
While doing Webservices to file scenario, in component monitoring, the soap adapter communication channel is showing as (in small traiangle inyellow color) channel started but inactive
hi leela,
The SOAP adapter will show only successful message . it will not show any entries for (or in yellow state ) the message in Error state.
To check thatmessage is coming to xi or not please go to sxmb_moni and find that is there any entries for the sender service or not. if there is no entries than sender side is not able to send the messge properly.
please check that ur web service is proprly consumed or not....

navneet...

Hi leelaratnam morampudi,
The Feature of the Soap adapter is like that, it will be the status inactive until a message get processed from that channel...........
So it is not a error of Soap adapter.......
Thanks

Hi leelaratnam,
Please check that you have only 1 communication channel active and running.
This happens when more than 1 CC is pointing or waiting for the same incoming data.
Also perform a dummy activate (i.e. write somthing in description and activate) in your message mapping and communication channel objects in case you are using PI 7.0
Thanks,
Varun

Hi Leela,
This is not an Error, Basically the SOAP Adapter will be like that only.
Once the Message is reached to Adapter, then that time it will get Active

It just means that no message has passed yet from ur adapter. Its not a problem. Just continue with ur scenario

Hi,
guess this is no problem, it should get active if a request appears.
