Hi Experts,

Could we apply an SNOTE that is of a higher patch level.

Say if our system is:

Component : BBPCRM

Release : 500

Support pak: SAPKU50008

could we apply a snote of the next patch level.

component : BBPCRM

Release : 500

Support pak : SAPKU50009

Thanks and Regards,

Jude Nazareth

Yes, you can... actuallty support packs are a compilation of notes meaning that maybe the correction you are thinking in sending across SNOTE is already included in the next SP.

Thanks Juan

However i would also like to mention one thing that when i downloaded the SNOTE on the DEV system the status shows :

"Cannot be Implemented". Could that be ignored while applying the note.

Thanks and Regards,

No... that means either that the note is not relevant to your system or that the corrections on the note cannot be implemented via SNOTE (meaning that maybe theres an attachment in the note or else)

Whats the note number?

Seems like you should be able to apply this via SNOTE.

This correction is included in SAPKU50009, whats your current patch for BBPCRM

have you checked if this note have already been applied?

HI,

In general SNote can be applied on a particular SP Level. It cannot be applied on higher SP level that is mentioned in the SNote, as those corrections will be already part of next SP level.

If you apply the higher SP Level, indirectly it means you have implemented that SNOTE.

Hope its clear now.

Mahesh
