Hi Roshini,
In MDM console, if by mistake u delete a table for a repository, can u undo the action?
Sol - The action cannot be un-done. It throws you a dialog box before deleting and when you confirm it, after that you can not undo it.
The only option is to re-create the Table, or use the Archived MDM Repsitory for Back-up.
*Please reward points if helpful

Hi,
Yes it does affect the data manager as well since only one copy of schema present in the database.
You could have exported the repository schema by selecting the following options:
Export Repository Schema in the MDM Console by right clicking on the repository.
If you would have the Archive of the repository but UnArchiving the repository will revert back the entire repository i.e. schema and data both.
Master-slave repository If you would have any synchronized slave of the repository. In this case deleting the table from the MASTER REPOSITORY will not affect the slave repository unless it is synchronized and Slave repository can be made as Normal.

Hi Roshini
in MDM we dont have the undo feature as of now
But if you have archived the repository then the table deleted accidently can be recovered by unarchiving the a2a file or Importing the schema and selecting that table only to be added.

Hi,
You cannot revert back unless and untill you have either the Archieve or the Schema of the repository.Because when any structure is modified it directly affects at the Database Server level.

Hi,
In addition to the above reply, Its always better to have an updated archive file of that repository say XYZ.a2a in your archive folder.
if somehow you have deleted table then it acts as back up which contain allthe repository schema with records also.
Hope it helps you,
