cancelling service confirmation in EBP

Is there any option of cancelling a service confirmation in EBP in classic scenario.

Or this can be cancelled only in backend R/3.

Hi Naseer,

Option of cancelling service confirmation in EBP is provided from SRM 5.0 version.

For versions below than this, you need to cancel it through R/3 backend only.

If we are on SRM 4.0 and using Extended Classic scenario where confirmation is created in SRM and then they are transfered to R/3 , how would cancellation of service confirmation work ?

Hi

We faced a similar issue and the steps we used were

1. ML81N - Revoke acceptance of service entry sheet

2. Delete service entry sheet

3. Re do the confirmations in SRM with the necessary changes

I am able to revoke acceptance of service entry sheet using ML81n in R/3

However how do we delete the service entry sheet, I couldn't find that option either in R/3 or SRM.

The PO was for 7 hrs and i did the first service confirmation for 5 hrs and later revoked the acceptance. Now when I attempt the service confirmation it is just showing up remaining 2 hrs available for confirmation and not 7 hrs

This I guess would be because I am yet to delete the service entry sheet.

Yes, you will have to delete the service entry sheet and then full qty or number of hours will be open.

You can use ML81 to delete the service entry sheet.
