Copy control from Billing to sales order

Dear Experts,

Want to know Copy control from Billing to sales order for return sales flow.

you will create sales orders with ref to Billing for mostly, Credit/Debit memo req's for which delivery wont happen.

You can refer, the copy control from billing to sales,( Eg:F2 - G2/L2) - Tcode: VTAF

Hi,

When i try to Create Returns order with reference to the Invoice. Tcode VA01, Order type RE, that time it gives error. It dosent give permission to copy values from invoice to order.

Help me.

Go to VTAF, select your item category and see what copying requirements you maintained there. It should be

Copying requirements::::::::303

Update document flow::::::::X

Hi,

Normal returns process in SAP is from Order to Return order.

If you want Return order with reference to invoice, you have to maintain the copy control in VTAF.

Pls maintain this and then try the transaction. It will allow you.

Hi, generally, create return order with reference to order.

If u really want it with reference to invoice, pls maintain the copy control firstly by using Tcode VTAF. And the order type RE & billing type invoice should be modified accordingly.

Flow is like this

Order--Delivery--Invoice

Returns

Return order(RE) with reference to order(OR)

Copy control between RE from OR is available in VTAA

Then Return delivery (LR) from Return order (RE)

Copy control for this is available in VTLA

Now the return invoice(RE) or credit memo with reference to return order(RE)

Copy control can be seen in VTFA
